Anthony Godette is a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS), Field Operations Divison (FOD), Requirements and Development Division (RDD), Engineering Division (ED) for over 35 Years. Anthony started with the federal government as COOP Student at Howard University. Position title Electronics Technician.
He received the Silver Metal from NOAA for his service in the Gulf after Hurricane Katrina and Rita. He has been a part of the U.S. Air Force Reserve for over 25 years and he has served as a Medical Technician in Desert Storm and “9-11”.
He has been a member of NOAA BIG for over 5 years. In 2011, he is honored to serve as a Delegate for the NOAA Chapter. He has served on the Local NOAA EEO Committee as President, Vice-President and member. He is an active member of the Volunteer Service of City Of Chesapeake, VA and the Local NAACP.
